Q & A with Alicia...
- How has APU transformed you?
- God has used APU to transform me in a number of ways. Through different events and situations He has molded me and is continuing to refresh my spirit through the individuals He brings to this place. I have walked away from four years at APU with a better understanding of community, a stronger sense of boldness, and a strong desire to please God in all ways. Also, I have acquired an understanding that as long as I’m walking in obedience with Him and seeking to please Him, there are no such things as coincidences. I thank God that out of all the settings He could have used to mold me with, He chose APU.
- What activities at APU have you most enjoyed being a part of?
- I loved my experiences and the relationships I developed through Alpha Group, BSA, and Alpha Kappa Psi!
- What advice would you give to prospective students?
- Be mindful of the expectations you may be bringing along with you. We serve a God who can do things exceedingly and abundantly, above all others. Let Him lead you all the way; I guarantee He’ll knock your socks off and give you the desires of you heart that you never knew were there.
- How do you spend your free time?
- I spend a lot of time meditating on the goodness of God, His Word, and His creation. Also, I enjoy hanging out at church or with friends, getting dinner or coffee. I also spend time in creation, whether the mountains or the beach, it doesn’t matter.
