Q & A with Katy...

How has APU transformed you?
It provided a safe place for me to wrestle with my faith and ask huge questions with supportive and knowledgeable faculty and staff. It has developed my heart for the world and service. It has opened my heart to a great community.
What activities at APU have you most enjoyed being a part of?
As a student, I loved chapels, intramural sports, speech and debate, and just living on campus! As a staff member, I've just been blessed to be among the other faculty and staff in meetings and in the office. What incredible people I work with that bless me daily!
What advice would you give to prospective students?
Live on campus, get a mentor or join a D-Group, participate in everything at least twice. The first time is always a little scary; the second time you get a better feel of it.
How do you spend your free time?
If I have free time, football on the beach is probably my favorite.
