Q & A with Kimberley...
- How has APU transformed you?
- Through the classes I took, the professors that mentored and challenged me, and the Christian community that surrounded me, APU planted a greater love for transformational scholarship in me and encouraged my adventurous spirit to explore the world. I was challenged to understand Christ’s heart for the “least of these” in ways that have changed my passions and directed my daily choices.
- What activities at APU have you most enjoyed being a part of?
- I loved getting to see the world through other's eyes during the many opportunities I had to study abroad, and then returning to APU to find out what home really means. I wouldn't trade my time spent in Adams Hall for anything—late night facials, roommate date, “Street Meet”, and the new acquaintances that developed into lifelong friends.
- What advice would you give to prospective students?
- Pray that God will give you peace as you trust Him in this next big adventure and that He will give you courage to embrace your next several years as an adventure that only He could have imagined for you!
- How do you spend your free time?
- I enjoy reading and relaxing in coffee shops around Pasadena, hosting friends and family for dinner, exploring big cities with my husband, baking pumpkin and banana bread, and dreaming of the next big adventure.
