Q & A with Rebecca...

How has APU transformed you?
My time at APU led me to realize the important aspects of life. I matured a lot and learned to distance myself from the superficial parts. Through my personal experience at APU, I also learned that change is inevitable and that embracing it can transform you in so many amazing ways.
Which activities at APU have you most enjoyed being a part of?
I was fortunate enough to have the experience of working so closely with the football department as the administrative assistant. I loved playing on the intramural soccer/softball teams as well as experiencing some of the most random and entertaining nights with my roommates when we lived on campus.
What advice would you give to prospective students?
I believe it is so important to get involved. I know that this comment is frequently used, but it is so true. Invest in relationships because your friends definitely have an impact on not only your college experience, but on your life.
How do you spend your free time?
I've finally started to travel as well as learning how to cook, and it was definitely about time. I've always been a Dodgers fan whether I'm going to games or watching them from home. I love bargain shopping and enjoy a good laugh with my friends and family.
