Transferring Courses

The following information will be helpful to you as you plan to transfer courses/credit from your current institution to APU:

In addition, you will want to read through the information below to determine if your community college courses can easily transfer to APU through an articulation arrangement. Should you have any questions about transferring your coursework to APU, please contact the Office of the Undergraduate Registrar at (626) 812-3013.

Articulation Agreements (Current and Prospective APU Students)

Course-to-course articulation agreements identify individual courses or sequences of courses at a sending institution that are comparable to, or "acceptable in lieu of," a corresponding course or sequence of courses at APU. These include not only General Studies requirements, but also lower-division requirements for a major or minor.

Select a California community college from the menu below and click “View Document” to view an articulation agreement.

If you have any questions on which courses Azusa Pacific University will accept from other specific colleges/universities to fulfill APU’s General Studies Requirements, please contact:

Major Articulation Plans (Prospective APU Students)

APU has partnered with several California community colleges to construct four-year plans to help you finish your degree on time. These Major Articulation Plans (M.A.P.) are designed for students who plan to transfer to APU after taking two years of coursework at a community college. Students who follow a M.A.P. can be assured that every course will transfer to APU and meet either a major requirement or a General Studies requirement.

Please note: APU is continually constructing additional M.A.P.s with more community colleges. Please check back again soon if you do not see the school you are looking for, or contact the Office of the Undergraduate Registrar for additional information.

Select your current school and major below and then click “View Document”.
