Select a California community college to view a General Studies transfer plan:
IGETC/CSU GE
APU accepts the completed IGETC or CSU GE as fulfilling the lower-division General Studies requirements. However, the student will need complete these provisions as part of or in addition to their completed IGETC or CSU GE.
- Students will need to meet the foreign language requirement: two semesters of the same language at the college level.
- Students will need to meet the Health Education and Fitness for Life requirements.
- Students will need to complete a math course with at least a prerequisite of Intermediate Algebra (course must be from school’s math department).
All APU students will be required to complete the requisite number of biblical studies and upper-division elective courses. In the cases of both the CSU GE and the IGETC, the certificate must be complete and obtained from the respective community college before the student matriculates to APU. Students who do not receive certification of completion will be evaluated by standard course-to-course articulation and will follow the APU General Studies program. Students who have completed minimum of 60 units and the IGETC will satisfy nine units of biblical studies at APU and nine units of upper-division General Studies course.
