Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum (IGETC)
The IGETC for the California State University (CSU) system and IGETC for the University of California (UC) system are accepted by Azusa Pacific University with the following provisions:
- Foreign language, health education, and fitness for life requirements must be satisfied (see APU General Studies guidelines).
- A minimum math level of college algebra must be satisfied (see APU General Studies guidelines).
- All prerequisites and elective courses for a declared major must be met.
- Transfer students choosing to follow the IGETC must complete it before they enroll at APU. Students who do not receive certification of completion will follow the APU General Studies program.
- Students who have completed a minimum of 60 units and the IGETC will satisfy 9 units of biblical studies at APU, and 9 units of upper division general studies courses.
