Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum (IGETC)
The IGETC (Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum) is accepted by Azusa Pacific University with the following provisions:
- Foreign Language requirements must be satisfied (see APU General Studies guidelines).
- Health Education and Fitness for Life requirements must be satisfied (see APU General Studies guidelines).
- A minimum of College Algebra must be satisfied (see APU General Studies guidelines).
- Transfer students choosing to follow the IGETC must complete it before they enroll at Azusa Pacific University and present the IGETC certificate at the time of enrollment.
Students who do not receive certification of completion will follow the APU General Studies program. - Students who have completed a minimum of 60 units and the IGETC will satisfy 9 units of biblical studies at APU, and 9 units of upper-division General Studies courses.
