Colin Ward
If you ask Colin Ward how he ended up at Azusa Pacific University, his answer is simple – God. It was the last place he wanted to attend, and he sent in the application only to please his parents. From the moment he stepped on campus, however, God spoke, and Colin knew he had to be at APU. “I haven’t looked back since,” he said.
When he considers the future, Colin hopes to go into corporate law – to be a light in the workplace. As he reflects upon his years at Azusa Pacific, Colin knows God has changed him. “He has taught me authenticity and shown me who He is as a personal God,” he said. “I’ve been significantly changed through my job as a Resident Advisor. I lead and disciple others, but they have no idea how much they impact me. God has revealed who I am in the process – the good and the bad.” Colin leaves for law school at Georgetown University and he will continue to take advantage of the “life-preparation” opportunities Azusa Pacific affords.
