I am very excited about returning to Azusa Pacific to help expand our relationship networks, specifically through the development of an advisory board of strategic leaders. Working closely with the provost and deans, I cultivate new opportunities to promote the scholarly contributions and pursuits of APU faculty, staff, and students, while enhancing the university’s stature in the wider community regionally, nationally, and internationally. An additional part of my focus is reaching out and strengthening our bonds with alums from our graduate programs through vision briefings and forums. As Special Advisor to the President, I pray God will open diverse paths to tell the Azusa Pacific story.
Andrea’s career spans work within higher education, K-12, and non-profit sectors including senior administrative positions at UCLA, Claremont Graduate University, Gordon College, University of Hawaii, Communities in Schools, and InterVarsity. Andrea returned to APU in 2007 where she previously served as dean of instruction and chair of the graduate program in Student Developmental Services, now College Student Affairs.
