Academic
Academic needs are addressed in various offices on campus. You can always start with your academic advisor or the Office of Academic Advising for general information. Below are details about where to find more specific guidance.
Academic Records

General Studies

Tutoring and Academic Assistance
The Learning Enrichment Center
The Learning Enrichment Center (LEC) offers group tutoring, placement testing, CLEP exams, student disability accommodations, examination proctoring services, and individualized study strategies among other supportive services. The center will also work with students with specific academic requests.
The Math Center
The Department of Mathematics and Physics sponsors a Math Center for assistance with mathematics course materials. The Math Center provides an out-of-classroom setting to learn and reinforce skills. It is staffed by skilled student tutors and is open for tutoring Monday throughThursday. For more information, please contact the Math Center at (626) 815-6000, Ext. 3841.
The Writing Center
The Writing Center, located in the William V. Marshburn Memorial Library, provides one-on-one consulting services, student-led discussion groups, workshops for research papers, and resources for publishing.
Vocational/Life Planning
The Office of Career Services and the Office of Christian Leadership and Vocation specialize in identifying and cultivating your strengths, as defined through the StrengthFinders Assessment, to help you decide which vocation would be best for you. Your academic advisor is also a resource in helping you consider options of your life's vocation.
Health
Your physical and emotional well-being plays an important role in your success. Utilize the services provided by the Health Services Center as well as the University Counseling Center.
