Azusa Pacific University, through the involvement of a private donor,
began working on Galileo Studio as a 3D studio facility to engage
Christians in entertainment in keeping up with the cutting edge in film
technology. The soundstage is used for university projects as well as
rental to outside groups. Previous client uses have included documentary,
commercial, and scholarly work.
Galileo Studio at Azusa Pacific University is situated south of the
university’s main campus, at the southeast corner of Alosta and Citrus,
approximately 30 miles east of Hollywood and just minutes north of the
210. The studio provides a dedicated wrap-around green screen soundstage
as well as 3D and 2D filming capabilities. The studio offers rental of its
soundstage and lights as a basic package and can offer rental of additional
equipment, including our 3D camera with monitor.
For the months of January and February 2012, Galileo Studio is offering
a 50% discount on our normal hourly and daily studio rental fees to APU
