Academic Hall of Honor

Statement of Purpose

It is the purpose of the Academic Hall of Honor to recognize those persons who have modeled Christ, scholarship, community, and service in their chosen career, and exemplify the true spirit and character of Azusa Pacific University as expresed in the APU Mission Statement.

Eligibility and Criteria Guidelines

  • Nominee must hold at least a bachelor's degree from APU.
  • Those individuals who have participated in the 2/2 Pre-engineering program at APU and have obtained their bachelor's degree from another institution of higher learning are eligible to be nominated to the Academic Hall of Honor.
  • The individual must have attended APU for at least 2 years.
  • A minimum of 7 years has passed since graduation from APU.
  • Nominees must be in good standing with APU.
  • The individual's personal lifestyle exhibits exemplary character and embodies APU's four cornerstones of Christ, Scholarship, Community, and Service.
  • The nominee's professional career is marked with high achievement, excellent leadership ability, and professional expertise.
