Third Annual RezLife 5K March 2, 2009 Join us for the third annual Azusa Pacific RezLife 5K takes on Saturday, March 14. Hosted by the Office of Residence Life, the 5K is a 3.1 mile walk/jog course designed to raise funds for local charities through participants and their sponsors. Come join in or cheer on the runners as they make their way through the course. All money raised supports the following programs: Focus International, a missions group; the Walter Hoving Home, a local women’s and children shelter in Pasadena; and the 1:6 Initiative, an organization devoted to bringing awareness, education, and global relief, through the conservation of clean water. The run begins at 10 a.m. on APU’s Trinity Lawn on East Campus, followed by a barbecue and live music. Runners will compete for the opportunity to win awards for the fastest runner and most sponsors for both men and women.
