The Urbana Student Mission Conference, sponsored by InterVarsity, takes place every three years. The 2009 conference will be held in St. Louis, Missouri, on December 27-31.

Special seminars, exhibits, and daily scripture study challenge the participants to a deeper understanding of God's call for all vocations. An estimated 25,000 participants are expected to attend, and APU hopes to send 150 (or more) student participants as well.

If you are interested in attending, or praying for those who are going, please join us at the following prayer meetings:

• What: Prayer for InterVarsity Urbana '09 Mission Conference
• When: September 16, October 16, November 20, 12-1p.m. Beverages & dessert provided.
• Where: Prayer Chapel (East Campus), or VIP Room Felix Event Center (West Campus)

Information Sessions: For those interested in going to this year's conference, there will also be two information sessions on September 22 and October 13. Both sessions will take place from 12-1 p.m. in Munson Chapel on East Campus. Registration ends on October 17.
