APU's Director of Graduate Admissions Named 2011 Graduate and Adult Professional of the Year

The North American Coalition for Christian Admissions Professionals (NACCAP) recently named L. Jo Witte, Azusa Pacific University’s director of graduate admissions, the 2011 Graduate and Adult Professional of the Year. The coalition announced the award at its annual conference, held this year in San Diego from June 5–8.

Witte has served as director of APU’s Office of Graduate Admissions since 2006. Collaborating with a management team of three other directors, Witte provides leadership to the University’s Graduate Center, which serves APU’s graduate student population.

The North American Coalition for Christian Admissions Professionals (NACAPP) provides Christian schools and universities the chance to develop new skills within the workplace. The NACCAP promotes integrity, honesty, and awareness and  encourages spiritual leadership within the community. The NACCAP hosts Christian college fairs and strives to increase enrollment in Christian higher education through support and training of admissions and guidance employees.
