APU Offers New Clinical Counseling Certificate

Posted: July 19, 2011

Beginning fall 2011, Azusa Pacific adds to its program offerings a new Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) Respecialization Certificate in Clinical Counseling, available at APU's Azusa, Murrieta, and Orange County locations. Part of the university's Department of School Counseling and School Psychology in the School of Education, this certificate program gives candidates hands-on experience in the field of clinical counseling, allowing them to work side by side with practicing school counselors and other licensed professionals in the field.

Graduates of this program gain a highly marketable edge as counselors who are uniquely positioned to help students and families understand the impact of mental health on academic success.

For more information about this program, contact Paul Bernard, faculty advisor, at (626) 815-2180 or pbernard@apu.edu.
