New Student Orientation 2012
New Student Orientation is just around the corner, and we can't wait to welcome you to campus! As you prepare to arrive at APU, here are a few helpful and important pieces of information:
1. When you arrive on Friday, August 31, be sure to check-in at housing (if you are living on campus) and at Orientation Check-in. Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m. It doesn't matter which one you do first, just be sure you do both! Commuter students: Please check in at Orientation Check-in after 2 p.m.
2. For lunches during Orientation, the color of your wristband will let you know where you will eat on campus. When you arrive at Orientation Check-in, you will receive a printed copy of the Orientation schedule, where you can find the lunch schedules and color assignments. We hope you will enjoy the great food our dining venues have to offer!
3. The President's Picnic, hosted by APU President Jon Wallace, takes place Friday at 5 p.m., and is a fun time to enjoy music and good food on the West Campus lawn. You may want to bring blankets or chairs for this picnic-style meal.
