| The Department
of English hosted the Western Regional Conference on Christianity
and Literature. Scholars from across the country presented more
than 80 papers on the theme of "Narrating Hope in Film and Literature."
The four-day event also included student presentations and several
film screenings.
All-American Benny Lin '02 won the prestigious Ojai
Tennis Tournament, marking the fifth straight year an
Azusa Pacific representative has won the tournament. As a
team, the Cougars won the tournament for the fifth time in
as many years.
The School
of Business and Management received initial accreditation
from the International
Assembly for Collegiate Business Education and has entered
into a self-study and assessment process in order to become
fully accredited.
