As an adjunct professor for the School of Adult and Professional Studies (APS), Doug Campbell, M.A., is in his seventh year as lead instructor for the BSOL program. He teaches graduate courses in APU’s Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership program, and helped develop and launch the BSOL on-line program. Campbell’s professional experience includes a breadth of executive responsibilities in for-profit and international not-for-profit environments, missions, media, and service to the HIV/AIDS community. He is currently Executive Director of a social services arm of The Salvation Army in downtown Los Angeles. Although a California native, he has lived much of his adult life in Asia, Micronesia and Hawaii, traveling to 65 countries for a variety of leadership and capital development projects. He earned his graduate degree in an accelerated adult learning program, and thus has a passion for adult students and the commitment required to earn a degree. Campbell and his wife of 29 years have two adult children.
