Fermin Jaramillo, M.Ed., is an adjunct professor for the School of Adult and Professional Studies (APS) at Azusa Pacific University (APU). Jaramillo specializes in teaching courses regarding math and science for educators, ELD strategies in content areas, and curriculum foundations. Currently, Jaramillo is an assistant principal at a middle school in Monrovia, CA ensuring academic achievement and providing a safe campus for students. His experience working with a diverse population of students, including special education, ELL, minority, G.A.T.E., and Title I students makes Jaramillo a great asset to the APU teaching community. As a teacher-leader-administrator at his school and district, Jaramillo provides school- and district-wide professional development for teachers.
