Shawna L. Lafreniere, Ph.D., has been a faculty member at APU since 2009. Prior to her arrival, she founded the Christian Higher Education Enrollment Association of Canada and the Canadian Christian College Tour, for which she was nominated twice as one of the "Top 40, Under 40" leaders in Canada. With expertise in leadership studies, gender issues and leadership, student learning assessment, and program review, Lafreniere teaches leadership and research courses and directs the academic and cocurricular assessment and program review activities of the university.
