Participation and Writing
Participation
The curriculum of each program is designed to provide students with a variety of learning activities:
- Expert sources (instructors, textbooks, audiovisual materials, etc.)
- Interaction with colleagues
- Individual reflection
- Integration of coursework into workplace or field
All students are expected to prepare for, participate in, and contribute to every class session. Make-up work is required and acceptable absenses are limited.
Writing
Papers for every course are expected to reflect college-level writing ability. They are assessed for content, organization, and writing skills. All papers are to be proofread prior to submission.
