Electronic Loan Requirements
- Accept, reduce, or decline your Stafford Loan at home.apu.edu.
- After you sign in, select the “Student Center” tab.
- Then click on the “Accept/Decline Awards” link.
- After you select the “Aid Year” you will be able to accept, reduce, or decline your loans.
- Lastly, be sure to check the details link on your “To Do List” to find out the final steps to complete your loan application.
- New borrowers also need to complete Direct Stafford Loan Entrance Counseling online at www.studentloans.gov.
- New borrowers also need to complete the Direct Stafford Master Promissory Note (MPN) at www.studentloans.gov.
