On-Campus Dining Discounts

Tenants may take advantage of numerous meal plan and discounted options for on-campus dining:

Meal Plans (15-week semester)

  • 75 Block Meal Plan: 235 dining dollars and 10 guest meals for $808
  • 45 Block Meal Plan: 100 dining dollars and 5 guest meals for $409*
    *Added value for 2008 only

Pre-purchase Dining Dollars

  • Option 1: $100 Dining Dollars with a 5 percent discount on all purchases
  • Option 2: $200 Dining Dollars with a 10 percent discount on all purchases

Self-Managed Utilities and Furnishing Options

Tenants pay for their own gas, electric, phone, and Internet services. Apartments can be furnished for an additional $200 per month. Residents may opt to purchase their own housewares and bedding, or obtain those items through the university for $100 per month.

With a major shopping center just across the street, take full advantage of the benefits this affords-from grabbing that morning cup of coffee to indulging in a late-night bite. Retail establishments include Stater Bros., Starbucks, Subway, Little Caesar’s, Marie Callenders, and much more. For banking services, Washington Mutual is adjacent. Laundry facilities are available both on-site and in the shopping center.

Application Process

Applications are now being accepted for Bowles Apartments and Alosta Place. Choose whether to rent with your family, share an apartment with other students, or lease a unit on your own. These university-owned properties adhere to standard APU apartment rules and regulations.

  • Complete a rental application.
  • Sign a contract and make a $500 deposit to hold a specific unit.
  • Leave a $50 deposit to secure a place on the waiting list and receive a call when a unit becomes available.
