GSAC Track & Field Meet Information

The GSAC Track & Field Championship Meet is making its tenth appearance in Azusa and its first since 2005.

AZUSA, Calif.  The Golden State Athletic Conference Track & Field Championship Meet returns to the “Canyon City” for the tenth time in the meet’s 22-year history. Azusa Pacific University is again serving as the GSAC Meet host this weekend (April 25 & 26) when nearly 260 athletes from 8 colleges and universities throughout California converge on Cougar Stadium in search of a GSAC title.

The 2-day championship meet opens Friday (April 25) at noon with the decathlon. The first field event – the women’s pole vault – gets underway at 1 p.m., while the first event on the track is the men’s 1500- meter preliminary races scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
 
Championship Saturday (April 26) opens with the women’s hammer throw at 8 a.m. and concludes at 3:20 p.m. with the men’s 4x400-meter relay.
