Brotherton Named NAIA and GSAC Player of the Week

AZUSA, Calif. -- Senior forward Bridget Brotherton has been named both the GSAC and NAIA's Offensive Player of the Week for her efforts in last week's games against Westmont and California Baptist.
In Santa Barbara last Tuesday, Brotherton scored the only second half goal to seal the 2-0 win over fellow GSAC-member Westmont College. Then on Saturday, the senior forward scored the game-tying goal off a header and assisted the game-winning goal in the road game at California Baptist.
After the 2-1 win in Riverside, the Cougars host 2 home games this week against The Master's on Wed., Oct. 15, and Biola on Sat., Oct. 18 (both games kick-off at 3:30 p.m.).
