AZUSA, Calif. -- Azusa Pacific's starting setter Allison Kincheloe has been named the GSAC Volleyball Player of the Week for her outstanding defensive efforts against Westmont and California Baptist last week.

The senior setter totalled 63 assists and 24 digs, as well as 5 service aces in the 9 games played.  Kincheloe registered 28 sets and 6 digs in the NAIA's No. 9-ranked Cougars' 3-1 win at Westmont on Tuesday.  She then played a huge role in 5-game upset of No. 4-ranked California Baptist in the Felix Event Center on Thursday when she tallied 35 sets and 18 digs.  Kincheloe led the Cougars with a team-high 5 service aces for the week and averaged 7 sets per game.

Azusa Pacific has 4  matches left in GSAC play including San Diego Christian at home Tues., Nov. 4, and Point Loma Nazarene in San Diego on Sat., Nov. 8; both game times are at 7:00 p.m.
