Leaman Named Special Teams Player of the Week

AZUSA, Calif. -- Senior Beau Leaman has been named the NAIA's Independent Football Special Teams Player of the Week for his oustanding efforts against East Texas Baptist in the last game of his Cougar career.
The defensive back made 7 tackles, including 3 unassisted, and blocked a punt (the Cougars’ first in 3 seasons) that led to the Cougar's first touchdown of the game to help Azusa Pacific to a 33-21 win over East Texas Baptist for the final game of the 2008 season.
