Cross Country is NAIA Champion

KENOSHA, Wis. -- Azusa Pacific University has captured the 2008 NAIA women's cross country national championship. The Cougars won the national team title during the 29th Annual NAIA Championshp Meet today in 30-degree weather in Kenosha, Wis.
This is the first-ever national championship for Azusa Pacific women's cross country and it is the 31st NAIA title in Azusa Pacific history.
The Cougar men posted their best-ever finish, coming in second in the 59th Annual NAIA Men's Championship Meet.
As a result of the high finishes, Azusa Pacific is also the combined school champion of NAIA cross country this year.
