Azusa Pacific litterally ran away from the field to win the 2009 NAIA Indoor Track & Field Championship, the Cougars fourth straight national title and their sixth in the past 7 years.

For the second straight year the Cougar women finished second by 1 points, with Wayland Baptist University winning the crown on the meet's final event, the 4x400-meter relay.
