AZUSA, Calif. -- Azusa Pacific University has been approved by the National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA) for Year Two of the three-year Division II membership process.

As part of the second year of the membership process, termed as Year Two Candidacy, Azusa Pacific begins competing as a first-year member in NCAA Div. II’s Pacific West Conference, while the Cougar football program begins competing as an associate member of Div. II’s Great Northwest Athletic Conference.
