Benjamin Fuller is in his fifth year on Azusa Pacific's sports medicine staff, serving as an assistant athletic trainer who enters his first year overseeing the primary care, rehabilitation and prevention of injury for the Azusa Pacific mens and womens cross country teams and mens and womens basketball teams.

In Fullers first year at Azusa Pacific (2008) he oversaw the coordination of treatment and rehabilitation for the Cougar swimming and acrobatics & tumbling teams in addition to his other sport assignments. During his second year he worked primarily with mens soccer, womens water polo, and mens and womens tennis. Over the past two years he has been the athletic trainer for the mens soccer and baseball teams.

Before coming to Azusa Pacific, Fuller spent two years as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Syracuse University where he worked mainly with the Orange football program, but also spent time with the 2008 national champion lacrosse team, both men's and women's basketball programs, track and field and cheerleading. Prior to his tenure at Syracuse, he spent six months as an intern athletic trainer at Sonoma State University, covering baseball and tennis for the Seawolves' sports medicine staff.

Fuller has also served his country, offering nearly nine years of military service with the California Army National Guard from March of 1997 until his discharge in November of 2005. In that time, he spent 11 months supporting Operation Enduring Freedom in Kosovo. For his performance and service, he was twice awarded the Army Achievement Medal and received the Army Good Conduct Medal as well.

Fuller, who has also worked in a physical therapy clinic, graduated from Sonoma State in 2004 with a B.S. in kinesiology. He completed work on his Masters degree in exercise science from Syracuse University in 2008. Fuller also has an associate degree from Santa Rosa (Calif.) Junior College.

Ben and his wife, Heather, reside in Ontario and recently welcomed the edition of their first son Caleb last year.
