2012 (junior): Appeared in 25 games, starting five times... Finished with a .185 batting average with two RBIs... Had a season high in hits, going 3-for-4 with a run against Westmont on April 21... Registered RBIs in back-to-back appearances against Redlands and Cal State San Marcos... Notched 14 putouts and 17 assists, and recorded three errors.
2011 (sophomore): Made 21 starts, all at second base, in his second season for the Cougars ... Went 9-for-61 from the plate, finishing with a .148 batting average ... Recorded seven RBI and four sacrifices, while striking out just 10 times ... Finished with a .944 fielding percentage, committing five errors and regsitering 41 putouts and 43 assists.
2010 (freshman): Played in 43 games, making 32 starts at second base ... Was one of nine players who batted over .300, finishing with a .301 average (40-for-133) and ranking fifth on the team with 29 runs scored ... Tallied 7 doubles, 2 home runs, and 16 RBIs, and he had the fewest strikeouts (13) of any Cougar hitter who had at least 60 at-bats on the year ... Batted 9-for-15 with 3 doubles, 1 home run, 6 RBIs and 9 runs in a 4-game series with Point Loma Nazarene, starting a 13-game hitting streak and moving into the starting lineup for the final 28 games of the season ... Had the team's second-longest hitting streak and recorded 9 multi-hit games, including a career-high 4 hits in a 17-5 win over Point Loma Nazarene.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played 3 seasons of baseball at Bonita High in La Verne, Calif., for Azusa Pacific alum John Knott, a 3-year Cougar who is 1 of 3 players in program history with a career batting average over .400 ... Was a 2-year All-Miramonte League selection, helping lead the Bearcats to consecutive CIF-Southern Section quarterfinals appearances ... Played in the San Gabriel Valley Senior All-Star game with high school and current college teammate Jason Plowman for the winning Red team, which was coached by his father, Glendora High head coach Dan Henley ... Posted a 2-year batting average of .316 in his final 2 prep campaigns, scoring 47 runs with 12 stolen bases in 2008 and 2009 ... Also played 1 season of football at Bonita.
