2012 (sophomore): Broke out in his second season at Azusa Pacific, earning First-Team NAIA All-American honors after leading the Cougars with a .437 batting average... Finished with 60 RBIs (second on the team), and stole a team-high 11 bases... Recorded a .660 slugging percentage, and tallied a team-high 20 doubles... Posted a 1.133 OPS (on-base + slugging), and hit nine home runs... Batted .522 as the leadoff hitter, and recorded a .446 average with runners on and two outs... Had 33 multi-hit games (team-high), and registered four RBIs in a game five times... Went 8-for-14 with nine RBIs and two home runs, while scoring seven runs in a four-game sweep of Fresno Pacific to earn GSAC Player of the Week honors... Finished with a .986 fielding percentage (two errors in 140 chances), and notched seven outfield assists.
2011 (freshman): Appeared in 37 games, starting 21 times (16 in the outfiled, four times as a DH, once as a catcher, and once on the mound) ... Hit .279 from the plate (24-86) and drove in 18 RBIs ... Had a trio of three-hit games, including a three-hit, two-RBI performance where he blasted his lone home run against Westmont in 15-9 win over Westmont. ... Registered three RBIs against Point Loma Nazarene on March 17.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played 3 varsity seasons for head coach Dan Pudwill at Redmond (Wash.) High, playing outfield and pitching for one of the top Seattle-area high school programs ... Earned All-KingCo Team honorable mention in 2009 and 2010 ... Batted .299 (23-for-77) as a 2010 senior, recording 2 doubles, 2 triples, 2 home runs, 14 runs, 12 RBIs, and 12 stolen bases ... Also pitched in relief, tossing 11.1 innings with a 1.85 ERA and 18 strikeouts to help lead Redmond to the KingCo 4A championship with a 19-6 campaign, the program's second conference title in 3 seasons ...
