AZUSA, Calif. -- Azusa Pacific University is one of nine sites hosting the 2012 NAIA Baseball National Championship Opening Round, a five-team, double-elimination format tournament that will run from May 10-14 at the Cougar Baseball Complex. The Opening Round tournament champions will advance along with Lewis-Clark State (Idaho) to the 10-team NAIA World Series in Lewiston, Idaho. The seeds for the Azusa Pacific-hosted Opening Round tournament are as follows:

No. 1 seed: Azusa Pacific University
No. 2 seed: Shorter (Ga.)
No. 3 seed: College of Idaho
No. 4 seed: Arizona Christian
No. 5 seed: Menlo

General Information Concessions: There will be a concession stand behind the home dugout. Parking: PLEASE NOTE: All guests (family and friends) will be parking in Lot A off of University Drive. Please do not have them follow the team bus or vans as they will be asked to turn around and use the other lot. Restrooms: The restroom facilities are located in two areas. The first set of restrooms is located in Engstrom Hall north of the baseball field. The second set is located west of the APU batting cages. Directional signs will be posted for players and guests. Pets: There are no pets allowed at Cougar Baseball Complex. Tobacco/Alcohol: Azusa Pacific University is a tobacco-free environment. Spectators will be asked to go outside of the stadium to smoke. Alcoholic beverages shall not be sold or otherwise made available for public consumption at an NAIA national championship nor shall any such products or beverages be brought to the site during the championship.
