  • Friday Night LightsApr. 29, 2005 | There was a lighting failure after the sixth, but The Master's lights were already out as Coba Canales and Johnny Soberal hit back-to-back home runs on the first 2 pitches of the game to lift Azusa Pacific to a 9-2 win over the Mustangs.
  • Cougars Take 2-of-3Apr. 23, 2005 | For the first 2 games it was business as usual as Azusa Pacific combined for 28 runs in a pair of wins over Westmont. But, in the third game, the Warriors snapped a 14-game losing skid to the Cougars with a 7-6 win.
  • It's the PitzApr. 18, 2005 | Pomona-Pitzer did all it could to give it away with 6 errors, but Azusa Pacific couldn't sieze it. In the end Felipe Aguilar's 2-run shot in the eighth lifted the Sagehens to an 8-7 win.
  • The Good and the BadApr. 16, 2005 | On one hand, Azusa Pacific can be happy--it snapped a 9-game losing streak to Biola. On the other hand, the Cougars are probably disappointed after dropping the nightcap in extra innings to settle for a split with the Eagles.
  • Asleep at the WheelApr. 15, 2005 | Azusa Pacific had its chances early to knock Biola ace Reid Hamblet from the game, but the Cougars stranded 5 in the first 2 frames before he put them to sleep for the night with a 9-1 loss.
  • Cougars, Lancers SplitApr. 9, 2005 | Azusa Pacific made the most of its opportunities to steal an 8-7 win in the opener and then couldn't cash in on its opportunities in a 4-3, 10-inning loss in the nightcap to California Baptist.
  • Lancers Snake-Bite CougarsApr. 8, 2005 | At this point, Azusa Pacific must just feel snake-bitten. California Baptist scored 3 times in the ninth to break a 4-4 tie and ruin an otherwise stellar outing by Zach Pettikas for a 7-4 GSAC win Friday.
  • Quakes Rattle CougarsApr. 6, 2005 | It was just an exhibition, but Azusa Pacific hung tough with the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes (Angels' Single-A affiliate) before falling 3-2 Wednesday night at The Epicenter. Jeff Staniland was 2-for-3, and Joe Morrison had a 2-RBI single.
  • Sisk Splits Sea LionsApr. 2, 2005 | Brandon Sisk allowed just 1 earned run in throwing his third complete game of the year to salvage a doubleheader split with Point Loma Nazarene.
  • The Will to DodgeApr. 1, 2005 | Point Loma's Will Craig and Scott Dodge beat up on Azusa Pacific Friday as the duo combined for 4 home runs (3 solo) in a 7-3 GSAC win over the Cougars,
