- Cougars Hold Off PattenMay 4, 2007 | The NAIA’s No. 2-ranked Azusa Pacific escaped bases-loaded 1-out jams to start and finish the game, and the Cougar offense scraped together 2 runs in the bottom of the eighth to post a 6-5 win over NAIA Region II independent Patten in the first round of the NAIA Region II Baseball Playoffs Friday afternoon in Azusa.
- Senior Stars Named Co-Players Of YearMay 1, 2007 | Scott Hodsdon and Stephen Vogt highlighted the selection of 5 Cougars to the All-GSAC team, with the senior tandem earning co-GSAC Player Of The Year honors after a spectacular regular season.
- Baseball Win Streak Stopped At 24Apr. 28, 2007 | The NAIA’s No. 2-ranked Azusa Pacific wrapped up the regular season with a doubleheader split at California Baptist, running its program-record winning streak to 24 games with an 8-5 win in the opener before surrendering 3 unearned runs in the final 3 innings in a narrow 4-3 defeat in the nightcap.
- “Best Week Of My Life”Apr. 26, 2007 | Stephen Vogt extended a night to remember into an unforgettable week, following up a career day at the plate with a 2-homer game, including a walk-off solo shot in the bottom of the 10th inning that gave the NAIA’s No. 2-ranked Azusa Pacific a 14-13 victory over Concordia, extending the Cougars’ program-record winning streak to 23 games.
- Still Counting The VogtApr. 25, 2007 | Senior catcher Stephen Vogt went 4-for-4 with 3 doubles and a grand slam, leading the NAIA’s No. 2-ranked Azusa Pacific to a 10-2 victory over Concordia Wednesday afternoon. The victory extends the Cougars’ program-record winning streak to 22 games.
- Brice AlmightyApr. 21, 2007 | True freshman Brice Cutspec blasted 4 home runs in a doubleheader sweep over Point Loma Nazarene, lifting the NAIA’s No. 2-ranked Azusa Pacific to a 6-3, 4-1 sweep over the No. 16-ranked Sea Lions. The sweep clinched the Cougars’ ninth GSAC baseball championship, extended their program-record win streak to 21 games and set a new program mark for wins in a season as the Cougars improved to 41-4.
