2007: Redshirted his first season at Azusa Pacific, attending classes while working out with the team.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played 2 seasons of varsity basketball for head coach Joe Robles at Santiago High in Corona, Calif. ... As a 2006 senior, averaged 4.7 points, a league-leading 11.5 rebounds and 2.3 blocks ... Registered 5 games with 15-or-more rebounds, including a career-high 17 in a win over Bonanza High ... Led the Sharks to the Mountain View League title ... As a 2005 junior averaged 3.7 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.4 blocks.

PERSONAL: Born Dec. 18, 1987, in Riverside, Calif., to Mark (pastor) and Janet Gantt ... Has 1 brother (Patrick) and a sister (Lisa, who graduated from Azusa Pacific in the spring of 2006) ... Majoring social science ... Would like to be a teacher.
