THIS YEAR: All-GSAC guard Marshall Johnson is one of the top wings in the NAIA ... Has a well-rounded game in that he can shoot from the perimeter, knock down the mid-range shot, or play above the rim ... Handles the ball well in traffic ... 2010 (sophomore): Started 37 of the 38 games he played during his 2010 sophomore season and was second in the team in scoring (12.9 avg.) ... Named All-GSAC first team (one of just 2 sophomores so honored)... Was second on the team in 3-point shooting (.404) and assists (2.0 avg.) and was third in rebounding (3.8 avg.) and steals (1.0 avg.) ... Was the Cougars' leading scorer in 10 games, including the quarterfinals of the NAIA Tournament when he dropped in 16 on Lee ... Was third on the team in scoring (9.2 avg.) and 3-point field goals made (38) ... Averaged 10.9 points in his 17 starts in which the Cougars went 13-4 (3 losses were to nationally-ranked teams) ... In just his eighth collegiate game, came off the bench to drop in 21 points at The Master's ... Finished the season scoring a career-high 25 vs. MidAmerica Nazarene in the opening round of the NAIA Tournament ...
