AZUSA, Calif. -- The Azusa Pacific men’s basketball program will host its fifth annual Sixth Man Club Golf Classic on Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013, at Sierra La Verne Country Club. Proceeds raised from the event will go towards an international basketball missions trip the Cougars will take in the summer of 2014.

The event, in conjunction with a designated “throwback” game during the upcoming 2013-14 basketball season, will feature special recognition and activities to honor the 1997-98 Cougar men’s basketball team, which was the first 30-win season in program history and was also the first Cougar team to advance to the NAIA semifinals.
