- Gervin Is Nation's BestJan. 14, 2003 | Two-time All-GSAC guard Caleb Gervin has been named NAIA Player of the Week for his individual effort in the Cougars' victories last week over Fresno Pacific and top-ranked Concordia
- No More No. 1Jan. 11, 2003 | For the seventh time this season, Azusa Pacific played a nationally-ranked team, and this time the Cougars collected the program's first-ever victory over a No. 1-ranked team, beating Concordia, 97-86.
- Staniland Goes to the HoleJan. 7, 2003 | Jeff Staniland began driving the gut which in turn opened the Cougar offense and all the perimeter parts that come with it. As a result, Azusa Pacific rallied to down Fresno Pacific, 71-65.
- Cougars Nip Master'sJan. 4, 2003 | Jeff Staniland buried a 3-pointer from the corner with 33 seconds left to give the Cougars' the lead for good in an 90-86 win over The Master's.
- Cougs Take Highway 28Jan. 2, 2003 | Azusa Pacific took Interstate 15 to get to the gym, but then the Cougars took Caleb Gervin's third 28-point outing to a 93-85 win over Christian Heritage.
- Cougars Are All the BuzzDec. 28, 2002 | An 11-day layoff had no ill effect on the NAIA's No. 8-ranked Azusa Pacific, which bolted to a 15-0 lead and then pounded the Fighting Bees of St. Ambrose, 103-59.
- APU Knox 'Em DownDec. 17, 2002 | Azusa Pacific rained 3-pointers early in the second half, including 3 straight to open up a comfortable 12-point lead on its way to an 83-58 victory over Knoxville College in the NAIA Shootout in Azusa.
- A Little Extra From GervinDec. 16, 2002 | Given a second chance, senior guard Caleb Gervin made amends for a near game-losing mistake by scoring 10 consecutive points in OT to lead Azusa Pacific to a 86-81 victory over No. 12 Faulkner.
- A Hopeful BeginningDec. 7, 2002 | Azusa Pacific opened the game with a 21-2 lead then pasted the worst loss in GSAC history on Hope International, 126-65, in both team's GSAC opener.
