Cougar Women’s Basketball Recruiting Information
Welcome to Azusa Pacific Women's Basketball, and thank you for your interest in becoming a Cougar.
- Azusa Pacific University is an evangelical Christian liberal arts university with an undergraduate student body of over 4,000 students.
- The university is located in Azusa, California, in the Los Angeles area, about 20 miles east of Pasadena against the San Gabriel Mountains.
- APU plays competitive women's basketball in the NAIA, which has a national playoff system.
- APU has appeared in the 32-team NAIA national tournament eight times, including five of the past six years.
- The Cougars advanced to the 1981 NAIA Fab Four and in 2005 made it to the "Sweet 16." The Cougars are 68-31 over the past three seasons.

Junior college and 4-year college transfers, send a tape from your most recent playing opportunity. Please include your first and last name, the school for which you play, your jersey number and colors, positions played, and a phone number where you can be contacted. Please also include an unofficial transcript.
Recruiting
If you are interested in learning more about our university and basketball program, and attending a game for free, please contact us. You will meet coaches and players, gain exposure to the university and women's basketball program, and have the opportunity for you and your family members to attend the game that evening.
