JACKSON, Tenn. -- Azusa Pacific's women's basketball team will play its fifth consecutive national tournament game in the 9:45 p.m. (Central) time slot, giving the Cougars plenty of experience in how to prepare for late-night basketball action.

Sophomore point guard Cherie Hughes guides viewers through a behind-the-scenes look at Azusa Pacific's preparation for the tournament, which opened with the Cougars' 71-57 first-round win over Montana Tech Thursday night. The clip, titled Up Late With APU Women's Basketball, can be found on the Cougar Athletics' Youtube channel, AzusaPacificCougars, or on the Azusa Pacific women's basketball video page, found in the "Announcements" section on the Cougar Athletics home page.

Azusa Pacific returns to action Friday night, taking on Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) with a quarterfinals berth on the line. A victory would give the Cougars their first 2-win trip to the national tournament since the program's very first NAIA Tournament appearance in 1981, when the tournament field consisted of just 8 teams.
