AZUSA, Calif.-- The Azusa Pacific women’s basketball team will be hosting the West Region Crossover Classic this weekend. The Cougars will welcome Western Washington, Seattle Pacific, and UC San Diego to the two-day four-game weekend tournament beginning on Friday night at 5:30. All four games will be streamed live on Azusa Pacific’s live video channel. The cost for each game is $7.95, and fans can receive a discounted rate by purchasing a women’s basketball season pass. Azusa Pacific will face a pair of perennial NCAA II powers, including a matchup against a Western Washington team that won the West Region last season en route to a Final Four run. The Cougars and Vikings will tipoff at 7:30 p.m. on Friday night following a game between 2012-13 CCAA Conference tournament champion UC San Diego and Seattle Pacific. On Saturday Azusa Pacific will take on a Seattle Pacific team that made 15 consecutive NCAA II postseason appearances prior to its recent two-year drought. The Cougars and Falcons will tip at 5:30 p.m. after WWU and UCSD square off at 3:30 p.m.
