2008 (sophomore): Competed in 5 of the Cougars' 6 meets during her 2008 sophomore season ... Registered a career 5K-best of 19:26 to finish 40th at the Aquinas Invitational in Grand Rapids, Mich., where she was fifth among all Cougars ... Was 35th at the GSAC Championships (19:28) in Fresno, Calif.
2007 (freshman): In her first-ever season of cross country, appeared in 6 meets, posting some surprising results along the way ... Was the Cougars' No. 5 runner in 4 meets, including at the Midwest Collegiate in Kenosha, Wis., where she clocked a season-best 19:33 to help Azusa Pacific finish third overall as a team ... Was also the Cougars' No. 5 at GSACs (19:52) and NAIA nationals (19:58).
TRACK & FIELD: Has competed on the Cougar track & field women's team the past 3 seasons ... Has qualified for the past 2 NAIA Outdoor Championships, first in the 10,000 as a sophomore, finishing 21st (39:02.22) and then last spring in the marathon (did not finish) ... Also qualified for the 2009 NAIA Indoor Championships, finishing 12th the finals of the 5000 (18:46.19) ... At the 2009 GSAC Championships finished fourth in the 10,000 (38:09.57) and eighth in the 5000 (18:21.41) ... Owns lifetime bests of 18:21.41 (5000) and 38:09.57 (10,000).
HIGH SCHOOL: Did not compete in any sports during her 3-plus years at Faith Bible High in Aloha, Ore. ... Rather spent 5 years as a competitive swimmer for the West Hills Aquatic Team (USA swimming) where she excelled in the 100- and 200-yard breaststroke ... A knee injury ended her swimming career.
PERSONAL: Born Sept. 17, 1988, in Portland, Ore., to Larry (electrical engineer) and Linda Godfrey ... Has 1 sister (Elizabeth) ... Her mother was a swimmer at Macomb Community College in Warren, Mich. ... Majoring in psychology.
