Teams with Abednego Magut to give the Cougars an excellent 1-2 punch at the top of their line-up ... Has run in 12 races over the past 2 seasons ... Though consistency in an issue, figures to once again press for All-America recognition.
2008 (junior): Fashioned his best season ever, highlighted by finishing 20th at the NAIA Championship Meet in Kenosha, Wis., with a lifetime 8K best of 25:05 ... Became just the 12 male athlete in Azusa Pacific cross country history to garner All-America honors ... Was also All-GSAC by finishing 12th (26:00) in the meet at Woodward Park ... Posted a 25:38 to finish 36th at the Stanford Invitational.
2007 (sophomore): In his first season running cross country at Azusa Pacific, finished 117th at the NAIA Championships (26:23) and 26th at the GSAC Championships (26:37) ... Was consistently the Cougars' No. 4 runner, though a season-best 25:35 at the Stanford Invitational had him second on the team.
SAN DIEGO CHRISTIAN: Spent his 2005 freshman season running cross country at San Diego Christian College ... Finished 40th at the GSAC Championship Meet ... Sat out the 2006 season.
TRACK & FIELD: Has competed in 5 NAIA track & field championship meets, running the 3000 (indoor) and steeplechase (outdoor), and has been a member of 5 national championship teams... Is the reigning GSAC champion in the steeplechase (9:21.42) and the conference runner-up in the 5000 (15:07.59) ... Has clocked the third fastest steeplechase (9:10.38) in school history.
HIGH SCHOOL: Ran 4 seasons of track & field and 2 of cross country at Whitehall (Mont.) High ... As a 2004 senior, earned all-state honors in cross country after finishing 12th in the state championship meet ... Later that year at the state track & field championship meet, finished fourth in the mile (4:31.1) and fifth in the 2-mile ... Named the Trojans' most valuable runner in both cross country and track & field ... Also played 2 seasons of varsity basketball and as a senior helped lead Whitehall to the state tournament ...
