Aaron Bartholomew is now in his second year as the assistant director of athletics at Azusa Pacific after serving the university in several roles over the past two decades. Prior to making an immediate impact in the behind the scenes operations in his first year with the Azusa Pacific athletic department he was the director of university services, overseeing the operations of numerous offices including the university bookstore as well as mail, duplicating and graphic services.
A highly organized administrator, Bartholomew is in charge of game operations for all Azusa Pacific athletics events, managing ticket services, crowd control and security. In addition to overseeing the maintenance and care of Cougar athletic facilities and equipment, he also handles Azusa Pacific's university-wide contract with Nike.
Bartholomew was the director of the Felix Event Center for the first eight years of the arena's existence, managing operations for concerts, seminars, symposiums and Cougar basketball and volleyball contests staged in the Felix Event Center.
A 1989 graduate from Azusa Pacific, Bartholomew has bachelor's degree in biblical studies and earned a master's degree in organizational leadership from Azusa Pacific in 2009. Bartholomew
