Aaron Bartholomew is entering his sixth year as the assistant director of athletics at Azusa Pacific after serving the university in several roles over the past two decades.
A highly organized administrator, Bartholomew is in charge of game operations for all Azusa Pacific athletics events, managing ticket services, crowd control and security. In addition to overseeing the maintenance and care of Cougar athletic facilities and equipment, he also handles Azusa Pacific's university-wide contract with Nike.
Bartholomew is also responsible for organizing and submitting bids and overseeing operations of NCAA postseason events for Azusa Pacific, which has hosted Division II postseason competition in six sports in the program's first two years of active NCAA membership.
Bartholomew was the director of the Felix Event Center for the first eight years of the arena's existence, managing operations for concerts, seminars, symposiums and Cougar basketball and volleyball contests staged in the Felix Event Center.
Prior to making an immediate impact serving behind the scenes to organize operations with Cougar Athletics, Bartholomew was the director of university services, overseeing the operations of numerous offices including the university bookstore as well as mail, duplicating and graphic services.
A 1989 graduate from Azusa Pacific, Bartholomew earned his bachelor's degree in biblical studies and a master's degree in organizational leadership from Azusa Pacific in 2009.
