As a 2007 sophomore was named all-conference second team and Citrus offensive player of the year ... Played in the Orange County Bowl against Fullerton College ... As a 2006 freshman was named Citrus’ most outstanding offensive freshman while leading the Owls to their fourth straight conference title.

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned 2 varsity letters while playing for former Cougar QB Greg Gano at Los Altos High in Hacienda Heights, Calif. ... Was a 2-time All-Miramonte League first team honoree (both offense and defense as a senior) while leading the Conquerors to a pair of league co-championships ... As a 2005 senior also named All-CIF first team and San Gabriel Valley Tribune All-Area second team ... Named to the San Gabriel Valley Hall of Fame football game as a senior ... Awarded the Conqueror of the Year for the team ... Spent his 2003 sophomore season on the varsity team at Gabrielino High in San Gabriel, Calif.
