2006: Appeared in all 10 games during his 2006 junior season ... Recorded 26 tackles, including 1 for loss ... Best game came against Humboldt State, his only start of the season, when he tallied a career-high 11 tackles (3 solo).

JUNIOR COLLEGE: Returned to football after a 4-year layoff and played the past 2 seasons at East Los Angeles College for head coach Ruben Ale … Appeared in 19 of the Huskies’ 20 games … Led the Western State Conference in interceptions with 8 during his 2005 sophomore season … Recorded career single-game bests of 15 tackles (vs. L.A. Harbor) and 3 interceptions (vs. Southwest ).

HIGH SCHOOL: Played 3 seasons of varsity football for head coach Vince Lopez at Gabrielino High in San Gabriel, Calif. … Played both running back and linebacker … As a 2000 senior led the Eagles to their first-ever conference title by tallying a school-record 170 tackles … Named Mission Valley League MVP, All-CIF first team and all-valley by the San Gabriel Valley Tribune … Was a 3-time all-league honoree, including first-team honors as a 1999 junior as both a linebacker and running back … Against El Monte High, rushed for 100 yards and 2 TDs while picking off a pass as well.
