THIS YEAR: Brody Sherwood returns for his second year in the program battling for playing time among the Cougar receivers and on special teams.

2007: Redshirted his first season at Azusa Pacific.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played 3 seasons of varsity football for head coach Aaron Olsen at Wilson High in Portland, Ore. … As a 2006 senior was named the team’s “best offensive player” for the second straight year … Accumulated over 2,500 all-purpose yards during his career … In his first varsity game as a 2004 sophomore, rushed for 266 yards and scored 2 touchdowns … Also lettered in track & field, clocking bests of 12.01 (100m) and 24.24 (200m).
